Jager Eisch
Jager Eisch has been an outstanding wrestler, dating back to his pre-collegiate career. In high school, he was a Wisconsin national team member as well as a two-time WIAA State Champion. He ended his high school career with a record of 125-23 and was a three-time letter winner.
Jager carried this momentum into his freshman season with Minnesota where he went 8-6 on the season. He continued to see great successes, specifically in his collegiate debut at the Bison Open where he took 2nd place. Later in the season, Eisch placed 5th overall at the Daktronics Open with an outstanding upset against #20 Liam Cronin with Nebraska.
So far this season, Jagger has placed 4th at the Daktronics Open and 5th at the Bison Open. His determination and ambition make him a remarkable athlete and addition to the Gophers. We look forward to continuing to watch Eisch grow in his wrestling career for the next 2 years.
