Ashlee Strawbridge
The New Zealand native began her collegiate career with the College of Southern Idaho. In her first season with the team, Ashlee Strawbridge played in 24 games and started in 13, and shot .392 from the field on 153 attempts. Her success continued her sophomore year, where she led CSI in scoring 6 times throughout the season, including a season high of 24 points in a win against Salt Lake CC.
Strawbrdige entered the transfer portal going into her junior year and decided to attend New Mexico State University. The team's head coach, Jody Adams-Birch said “Ashlee embodies our Aggie culture on and off the court. She is truly uncommon in how she embraces life and others. She has the ability to score at all three levels and she is a competitor.” NM States is excited to add such a dynamic athlete to their team.
In the 7 games of the 2022-23 season, Strawbridge has started in all 7. She has shot .487 on 39 field goal attempts and .333 on 12 three point attempts. Her defense so far this season has also been extremely strong where Ashlee has had 8 steals and 5 blocks on the season. We can’t wait to watch the rest of Ashlee and the Aggies’ season!
