The Hidden Opponent Partners with Honorarium

As part of Honorarium’s Athletes Give Back Program the company is excited to announce a partnership with The Hidden Opponent, an accredited non-profit and advocacy group that raises awareness for student-athlete mental health and addresses the stigma within sports culture.

The Hidden Opponent (THO) was founded in 2019 by Victoria Garrick, former Division I athlete and PAC-12 Champion who was a four year starter on the University of Southern California Women's Volleyball team. THO is named after Garrick's 2017 TEDxTalk, which details her personal battle with depression and anxiety, and the mental health crisis facing athletes around the world.

The Hidden Opponent is now a Select Charity Partner through the Athletes Give Back program where student-athletes will be able to support one or more of Honorarium's Select Charity Partners by allocating a portion of their NIL earnings through Honorarium. This partnership with The Hidden Opponent is an important step in providing Honorarium's athletes with a platform to give back to their community and support mental health initiatives.

In addition, Honorarium is committed to making a significant impact on Giving Tuesday by dedicating 100% of its profits to support their Select Charity Partner organizations. This contribution testament to the company's dedication to supporting mental health initiatives and its partnership with The Hidden Opponent. Giving Tuesday is a meaningful way for Honorarium to give back and make a positive impact on the community.
