Brendan Grimes
Brendan Grimes has been a tremendous athlete prior to his collegiate career. The four year lacrosse team member had 104 goals and 29 assists during his time at Boys’ Latin high school. During his sophomore year, Grimes led his team to the MIAA “A” title game.
Once arriving at John Hopkins, Brendan had a large impact on the team. He received many accolades such as Big Ten Freshman of the Week after his first career hat trick vs Ohio state, and being ranked #4 freshman in the nation by Inside Lacrosse. He was also the only freshman on the team to receive a start in any game.
Grimes not only takes his athletic career seriously, but his academic career as well. While being selected as a Member of the United States U19 Team, Grimes is also majoring in economics, which at Johns Hopkins is in the top 1% of economics programs in the country. Brendan has accumulated 24 goals in the past two years, and we look forward to the spring season with anticipation to see him continue to be an asset to his team.
