HONORARIUM PARTNERS WITH VOL CLUB ATHLETES FOR BTS CONTENT

KNOXVILLE, TN - Honorarium is a social payment platform that provides 182 million college sports fans with the opportunity to engage with and provide financial support to their favorite college athletes and teams. In an exciting collaboration, Honorarium has partnered with five exceptional Tennessee student athletes to capture exclusive behind-the-scenes content through the entirety of the 2023 season.

Showcasing weekly mini documentary episodes ranging from 5-7 minutes, Vol Access powered by Honorarium offers fans an inside look into the lives of these student athletes showcasing the dedication, challenges, and the distinctive idiosyncrasies that make each athlete truly one-of-a-kind.

“Pairing some of the most interesting athlete story lines with Honorarium in this way allows us to increase the media presence we’re trying to build via Spyre and Aspyre in stride with The Volunteer Club. These student athletes will entertain and showcase the very best of Tennessee”, said The Volunteer Club co-founder James Clawson.

The athletes participating in the Vol Access series are: Dont’e Thornton, a Wide Receiver transfer from Oregon, roommates Running Back Jabari Small and Defensive Tackle Omari Thomas, and brothers Caleb and Elijah Herring, both members of the defense.

Empowering the athletes with complete creative control of the series, including content discretion and approvals ensures an authentic depiction of their journey. For a nominal monthly subscription of $9.99, Tennessee fans are now granted a front-row seat to behind-the-scenes coverage of their favorite athletes, available exclusively through the Honorarium App.

Dan Dykens, CEO of Honorarium, stated “We are thrilled to work with this established and pioneering program, showcasing the remarkable potential of our platform. This potential reaches far beyond athletes’ financial gains and extends to their personal capacity to cultivate a robust digital brand.”

A portion of the proceeds from each episode of Vol Access will go to The Volunteer Club to support Tennessee student-athletes.
