Molly Ramsey

HONORARIUM ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

SCHOOL: KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY

SPORT: WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

DIVISION: 1

CONFERENCE: BIG 12

YEAR: SOPHOMORE

“My favorite part about being an athlete is the constant challenge it presents itself. No athlete is ever the absolute best or completely perfect, so always striving to be better and work harder is something I love. This work ethic will serve all athletes later in life and athletics are something I will always be thankful for.”

Molly has always been athletic and driven. She played three sports in high school; basketball, soccer, and volleyball, but she had a stronger passion for volleyball that shined through. Molly plays volleyball at Kansas State as a Defensive Specialist/Libero.

Molly’s interests stretch further than the volleyball court. She is majoring in Life Sciences Pre-Nursing with a minor in Biology. Molly has said that she loves being an athlete for many reasons, but she is thankful for the work ethic that sports have given her, because she can use these skills later in life.
