YEAR: SOPHOMORE

The Canadian native has been an outstanding athlete since before his collegiate career. He was a starter on the Ontario Provincial Team, MVP of the Provincial Indoor Soccer League, and Canadian National Prep-School Finalists. He was additionally a three-time school Athlete of the Year.

In his freshman season, Ngobia started in 6 games and earned a shutout in 4 of them. He had a total of 2 assists on the season, as well as a game winning goal during overtime against Rochester. 

Maina has been a part of the school’s outstanding season. The maroon’s are 16-0-1 on the year, and have put up 10 shutouts this season. The team is ranked first in the University Athletic Association, from their prior 2021 ranking of second. We are excited to watch the rest of their season play out and the success that will follow!
