Jerome Hunter is an exemplary Big East athlete. Hunter started his collegiate career at Indiana University, where he medical redshirted as a freshman, and then went on to play for 2 more seasons at Indiana. In the 2019-20 season with the Hoosiers, Hunter played in 30 games with 3 double figure scoring games. 

During his sophomore year, Jerome played in 25 games and started in 4. His success only continued to escalate as the 6’8” forward ranked third on the team with 25 3-point field goals. He also had 4 double-figure scoring games, all against Big 10 division rivals. After the season, Hunter decided to enter the transfer portal where he was recruited by Xavier University.

At Xavier, Jerome’s domination on the court became evident. In 35 games, 17 of which he started, he totaled 142 points, 101 rebounds, and 21 assists. Hunter also had 5 blocks and 19 steals on the 2021-22 season. Beginning his senior year at Xavier, Jerome and the Musketeers have had 2 games so far. In these 2 games, Hunter has 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. We are so excited to see how Jerome performs the rest of the season!
