We honor Caleb for his commitment to football. After years of pressure on his back, Caleb finally had to focus on his lower back injury. He took time off, fortunately during the height of COVID, so he wasn’t missing too much. His coach recently said, “I didn’t think he’d be able to play again.”

Well, Thomas sure proved him wrong. He is doing better than ever, he said, “I’m really excited to get out there and show everybody what I’ve been working for.” Congratulations to Thomas for never quitting and being an inspiration to all of us.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Played in 10 games for the Green Wave making eight starts as a redshirt freshman

  • Blocked in an O-line squad that led the way for the Green Wave to gain more than 100 yards on the ground in 10 out of 12 games in the season

  • Helped the Green Wave gain 305 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 44 attempts in the final game of the season at Memphis
